Innerstar University
Innerstar University is an online virtual world for the My American Girl dolls.
Registration[edit | edit source]
The site requires a Doll Code and a Star Code before a person can enroll their doll at Innerstar University and obtain full access. This is currently restricted to newly-purchased My American Girl dolls as the necessary codes are bundled with the Real Me Outfit, however, Innerstar University gamebooks include a Star Code that allows access to the site for 14 days. Membership is free as long as a My American Girl doll has been purchased.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
The site plays pretty much like most online dungeons, although communication is generally restricted for its target audience due to COPPA regulations and Pedobear trying to lurk around from time to time.
Campus[edit | edit source]
The Campus is an interactive place where virtual versions of the dolls can walk, talk, shop, and play games. In order to get from place to place, users must use the map.
Rising Star Stables[edit | edit source]
Rising Star Stables is a location where girls can play the game, Jump for Gold. In this game, girls can lead their doll around on a horse. The guide here is Amber, a virtual version of JLY 40.
Blue Sky Nature Center[edit | edit source]
Blue Sky Nature Center is an area where girls can come and meet. This location has no game, but there is an Innerstar Guide, Paige, a virtual version of JLY 24.
Star Student Center[edit | edit source]
Star Student Center is a location where girls can show their Innerstar U spirit. The U-Rah-Rah store is where girls can purchase virtual Innerstar U-themed outfits and accessories. The game here is Cupcake Crazy where girls can create virtual cupcakes according to recipes. Girls can also check high-score here.
Sparkle Studios[edit | edit source]
Sparkle Studios is an area focused on being creative. There are no games here, however girls can chat and meet each other.
Brightstar House[edit | edit source]
Brightstar House is an interactive place where each avatar has a room. Each room has a closet where the avatar's clothes are stored, a vanity where avatars can change their look, a bookshelf where samples of American Girl's books can be checked out from the library, a table where the yearbook can be found, and with each room look comes a pet bed so students can pet sit. The guide there is Shelby, a virtual version of JLY 44.
Starlight Library[edit | edit source]
Starlight Library is a location on campus where avatars can check out samples of American Girl books. Students can also play Help Desk Hubbub, a game where students answer real-life school questions. Also, if girls have an Innerstar U Book, they can access secret endings in the Secret Endings Room. The guide responsible for this area is Logan, a virtual version of JLY 19.
Starfire Boathouse[edit | edit source]
Starfire Boathouse is a location where students can come and chat. There are no games in this area, however, they do have a guide, Emmy, a virtual version of JLY 47.
U-Shine Hall[edit | edit source]
U-Shine Hall is a place where avatars can come and express them selves through a dance and a music game. Dance Spectacular is a single or multiplayer game where girls tap the right keys so their avatar will dance the correct moves. Melody Maker is a game where students choose an instrument, a song, and then girls tap the right keys so the song will be played correctly. The guide, Neely, is a virtual version of JLY 23.
Five-Points Plaza[edit | edit source]
Five-Points Plaza is the central location on campus. Here, avatars can meet and walk around on the star-shaped deck.
Real Spirit Center[edit | edit source]
Real Spirit Center is a location that focuses on relieving stress and calming down. This area is set up to look like a peaceful Oriental garden with a pond and a thatched hut for yoga. Body Balance is a game where dolls become avatars doing yoga and practicing moves. Girls learn tips on learning how to become calm. Although not stationed here, Riley, a virtual version of JLY 27, is the guide.
Good Sports Center[edit | edit source]
The Good Sports Center is a place where avatars can come and play sports-based games. The game Dive In!, is where the avatar can dive and earn points for good dives. Pom-Pom Power is a game where your doll becomes head-cheerleader and cheers. Girls learn fun cheers and confidence tips. The last game is Game On! where dolls play a series of sports-themed mini games. The guide here is Riley, a virtual version of JLY 27.
Shopping Square[edit | edit source]
Shopping Square is a location where girls can buy virtual items for their avatars. The guide here is Isabel, a virtual version of JLY 33. The stores in this area are- Real Beauty Salon, Casual Closet, Girl Gear, Pajama Jam, Twinkly Toes, Pet Palooza, Dream Decor, Bravo Boutique, and Glittering Gown.
Morningstar Meadow and The Market[edit | edit source]
The Market is an area where students can come and chat or play Bright Kites. Bright Kites is a game where girls are in charge of handling their own kites and dragging them across clouds in patterns. Although not stationed in the area, Paige, a virtual version of JLY 24, is the guide.
